As a faculty member in the College of Education, I teach courses in the undergraduate Elementary Education and graduate Special Education programs. I also coordinate the undergraduate Special Education add-on licensure program and engage in scholarly research and service to the university, community, and profession.

In this role, I support the development and dissemination of high-quality online resources for teachers of struggling learners and students with disabilities. My projects have included content development and/or review for 7 IRIS modules and facilitation of "Prep Talks," a resource dissemination series for teachers educators.

As a member of the district-level special education leadership team, I facilitated professional development, offered direct coaching for teachers in separate setting classrooms, and provided consultation specific to supporting students with autism in pre-k through grade 12.

My teaching experience comprises leading a separate classroom for students with autism and extensive support needs in grades 1-5 and providing resource and inclusion services for a cross-categorical elementary caseload.
